Is the American dream open to everyone

"I have a dream..." These words are perhaps four of the most famous words in history. Some may question the possibility of the American Dream. Some may feel that it is an unattainable goal for the average person to have. However, if you are willing to work hard, and put forth some effort, you too can make your American Dream come true.

In America, there is always a place for someone who wants to work. Some might say that certain people are not given the same opportunities as others are. Everyone in America is given the same opportunities. Put a little bit of effort into life, get a little bit of reward. Put a great amount of effort into life, get a great amount of reward. It is as simple as that. These are opportunities that anyone can take advantage of.

An education can be a helpful tool to getting the success in life that you want. This does not mean that without higher education, success is impossible. Some might feel that those who are not given the same opportunities as others may be hindered from succeeding in life. This is simply not true. There are millions of people who have made millions without furthering their education. The difference between these people and others is that they had the drive and the million dollar idea.

It does not matter what your background. Millionaires come from poverty, just as people living week to week on minimum wage often come from wealthy families. The American Dream is based on how hard you are willing to work for it. The difference between success and failure is not a college degree. It is not an opportunity that you just missed. The American Dream is based on having the drive and willingness to put forth effort. The American dream is absolutely open to everyone, you just have to be willing to work for it.
