When you are looking for a hotel chain, you can never go wrong with choosing a Marriott hotels. There are hotels available for ever price range which is a definite plus. I have stayed in Marriott Hotel, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott and Townplace Suites by Marriott.

When you are looking for total elegance, Marriott Hotels is the place to go. The beds are plush, plenty of pillows, and soft comfy sheets. There is a desk with chair, giving you space to work. And there is an extra chair for relaxing. I liked the fact that I had enough room to spread out and organize my things. The television was in a cabinet along with the coffee maker. The bathroom seems larger than most. The first time I visited a Marriott, I thought I was in a handicapped room because the bathroom was so big. The lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and soap are good quality, not so cheap that you wish you brought your own. The towels are extra large and the washcloths are thick. There are plenty of towels and washcloths in the room. The room service is exceptional. Whatever you think you might want, you can ask and the Concierge desk will try to accommodate. The business traveler will appreciate staying in one of the Concierge rooms. Staying in one of those rooms allows access to a very nice complimentary breakfast with croissants, toast, a selection of meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, cereals, juices, hot cocoa, and high end quality coffees and teas. Since it was included in the price, I did not have to pay $15 for the buffet in the hotel restaurant for the same items.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott are very similar in the style and layout. These both have nice rooms. The rooms are simple and efficient. There is a bed, small desk, and television. The bathroom was average size. The lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and soap were nothing special, doing the job they were meant to do. Most hotels offer some sort of continental breakfast including waffle maker. I have even found one Courtyard hotel that offered sausage biscuits. I am sure that some people liked that. I do not eat sausage, so it was not that great to me. The price of these rooms was average for what was provided.

Townplace Suites by Marriott is a great choice for extended stay visits. These one and two bed suites are like mini apartments. When you walk in, you want to move in! There is a bed, sofa, desk, and a kitchenette area. From the outside, the rooms appear to be in an apartment complex. They even offer fresh fruit, cookies, and coffee during the day. There is such a laid back atmosphere, that you will love your stay.

They offer a rewards program where you earn points for your stays at all Marriott hotel locations. Reward programs are always a plus. When you accumulate enough points, you can have free nights at the hotel or resorts.
Like I said in the beginning, you can not go wrong with choosing Marriott hotels. And their consistent attention to detail and customer service oriented mentality leads me to sing their praises to everyone that I know.
