Heart and Shoes

I remember just the other day
when I saw you sitting at the cafe
I walked up and looked deep into your eyes
it seemed to me that you didn't recognize
there's beauty that lies deep within you heart
but I seemed to recognize it from the start
You gave me number and I gave it a call
Swept off my feet, couldn't help but fall

As I continued strolling down the street
I heard the gravel crunch beneath my feet
it reminds of the times when we walked in the sand
of the beach and the first time when I held your hand
and that's when I looked deep into your aura
and I swear that I saw the Aurora-
Borealis shining in the sky
That is what I see when I look into your eyes

My heart beats faster when you're near, I get fatigued
your mind is stimulating, I'm always so intrigued
Your smile radiates a warmth deep into my core
So believe me when I tell you that you should smile more
It reminds me of the times when you're such a gem
such as Lucy in the sky with diamonds
you're as precious as a gemstone, I just can't get enough
compared to your beauty I'm just a diamond in the rough

I just can't keep from loving you
It's as if I lost all self control
I love you with all my heart and shoes
Because that way, I'm loving you with twice the sole.
