Is marriage still sacred?

Both parties must be willing and ready to ensure that all measures are taken to maintain the sacredness of the marriage in order for it to work. That means if your girlfriends are complaining about their husband while you may talk about it you do not give everything up about what should be intimate between you and him; chances are if your marriage is too good and you tell too much they'll start to take interest in your husband, which will defeat the purpose. If your boys are talking about aspects of their marriage you do not have to say anything at all, or minimize what you do say. Do you wear your wedding rings, and if not why don't you? Some people simply are not into wearing rings and aren't that comfortable with it or fear loosing the ring and that is one thing.

Initially my ring was too big, but I wanted to wear it but it would fall off, so I found a way to keep it in my wallet. I told a girl I was working with I was married and she didn't believe me, now other guys probably would have used that loophole to their own advantage but I am always upfront about being married I do not believe in lying to everyone about everything. I ended up showing the ring and putting it on and so forth and so on, and that put an end to that. But I tell that because it goes back to the argument of just how sacred a marriage is; because a woman who is angry at her husband or emotionally uninvolved will not wear her ring, even though technically she isn't through the process of being divorced to him yet. Whether or not you do will control who you find yourself in contact with and who you attract; and you want to be around people who support your marriage, not those who do not have any respect for it.

Writers are tempted to tell everything about their relationships, because it will make for a good article, which leads to more money at the end of the day. But are your relationships worth any amount of money, fame or respect; if you are willing to use your relationship to entertain others, instead of helping others, why are you in it why is God entrusting you with that relationship to begin with? Now it takes a while to really define what is sacred and what isn't in a marriage, and in the beginning you make a lot of mistakes. You hang out with single people who do not have any responsibilities to someone, or married people who aren't right, that will encourage you to put the sacredness of your relationship aside so you can have a bit of fun for a change. But weren't you already having fun at home, what are you really trading for here? It takes a bit of wisdom to know what you can or cannot do.

It isn't that marriage is not sacred, it is that the societies definition of how marriage is perceived has changed, married people do not always act as though they are; too often they are the center of attention and the life of the party, when they should have moved on from that mentality before they got married. If you cannot involve your spouse in it, not only is it not for you but it simply will not work, if we can hold onto that our marriages can truly work. So your marriage can be sacred if you really want it to be, but if one or the other person isn't on the same page, you have two different people going two different directions, practicing a different marriage altogether, it simply isn't going to work.
