When I went out to the letterbox this morning a blonde neighbour came racing over to tell me some exciting news. She was jumping up and down and squealing with delight, "Guess what! Guess what!" It wasn't hard to guess what the news would be as I knew she'd been wanting to have a baby for some time. But I decided to let her "surprise" me, rather than "steal her thunder"!

"What?" I asked. "You didn't win lotto, did you!"

"Even better than that!" she cried. "I'm PREGNANT!"

"Oh how wonderful!" I enthused. "So you've just found out, have you?"

"Yes, I just did one of those home tests this morning. But wait! There's more!"

"More?" I asked, envisioning the steak knives that came with the deal.

"YES!" she exclaimed, hardly able to contain the 'punchline' a moment longer. "We're having TWINS!"

"Twins?" I queried. "How do you know that already?"

"Well that's easy now!" she explained. "They've got this new twin sample kit you can buy at K-Mart. I've always hoped I might have twins one day. So I did the two tests and the double blue line came up on both of them! Isn't it just too exciting!"
