Living unconventional lifestyles

I am only seen as unconventional by the people, whose views on my lifestyle don't bother me in the slightest. Unconventional to one person is conventional to another. I suppose different sections of society see life in a different perspective.
Am I unconventional because I care for all creatures as kindly as possible?
Am I unconventional because I'm not interested in lavish, expensive, gas-guzzling cars?


Am I unconventional because I talk to my cats, or other peoples cats, dogs, horses etc.,?
I could go on forever, but you get my drift. If I seem different because I care for the world and the people, creatures that live in it then yes I am. I don't like fast food,or over processed food, but I'm not extreme as there are times when something quick and probably unhealthy is unavoidable. I have seen enough summers to know what I enjoy wearing even if it was fashionable 20 years ago. I adore 'Crocs' my poor, craggy feet have found something that has given them a new lease of life. True they don't look wonderful with all outfits but I really don't care. I'm clean, my home is clean, my garden is pretty, my cats are clean and as far as I'm concerned 'All is right with the world' I feed and care for my hedgehogs in the garden which makes me the 'Hedgehog and Cat woman' of the village, in a nice way I hope. But isn't it better than being known for leaving litter, stamping on spiders and eating junk food daily.
Yes, I am unconventional, my crafts are unconventional, my home and garden are unconventional, so......
