No. But, tell me who is?
In my time I've seen eight Presidents in office (of course, I was only able to remember six of them - but, I digress). I'm going to go through all of them and grade them like one would a student.
The first that was Lyndon Johnson. His predecessor (Kennedy) had made plans to pull our troops out of Southern Vietnam, but those plans died when he was assassinated. LBJ felt that the war was winnable as we never lost any major battles. Report Card: C+
When Nixon took power he also saw that we were winning the battles, but the body count was too high. He decided to cut our losses. Unfortunately, he ran into political problems when he was caught doing what politicians have been doing for centuries: spying. George H.W. Bush...ties to the bin Laden family and Sadam Hussein. Lots of money made in the oil industry. Helped arm Iraq with chemical weapons during their war with Iran (nobody seemed to care that much back then)...but, he wasn't Commander in Chief yet. Let's fast forward ahead to 1989-93. When Kuwait was invaded he received a plead for help from friends in Saudi Arabia. He sent troops there to prevent the Iraqis from looking south. He then sent troops into Kuwait to liberate it. Kudos! Great job! You helped a country out. His next thing to do was invade Iraq and shut down their army. Done. He then said on Tv that he intended to install a Democratic
