The media has made itself a dupe and pawn of the terrorist organizations around the world by giving them constant coverage. And, the terrorist groups don't even have to pay for all of this exposure. All they have to do is blow up a few hundred or a few thousand people and the media is all over it, screaming for change and for our government to make more compromises to appease the terrorists.
Why are they called terrorists? Because they strike like a snake and do the most harm possible to unsuspecting people, hence striking terror in their hearts and minds. Are there children among the slaughtered? Yes, and they are happy about it. That makes the terror even more profound. And make no mistake, the more they are feared the more power they have.
When the media steps in and glorifies acts of terrorism in their mad rush for ratings they lose all common sense. They inbed reporters with our troops, which gives the enemy a pretty good idea of what we are doing. All they have to do is watch the nightly news. The reporters describe places and operations which helps the terrorists plan their next move. And, although our troops suffer losses daily, only the briefest mention is made of this. But, let a reporter get hurt and you would think the world is coming to an end. Everyone cries "foul" and why? Because without the reporters the terrorists would have a much harder time figuring out their next move and the liberals would have much less fodder for their anti-American campaigns.
The media then hypes their reports with a leftist view and the liberals take up the chant of fear and cowardice that fuels the terrorists even more. After all, if the 'people' in America don't want war, then it only makes sense that if they step up their campaign of terror, we will fold and run away. And, once that happens you might as well buy a prayer rug and get ready to be a muslim, because making the entire world muslim is their goal and they don't intend to stop until they either win or are beaten soundly.
Hollywood glamorizes the terrorists for their own gain. They've known for years that scary movies do well at the box office. So, they play into that mind set with their rhetoric and movies in a most shameful way.
During the second World War there was a saying, "loose lips sink ships" and people were cautioned about what to write or say. Today the media screams 'freedom of the press' and gives everything to the enemy. Do we not value our country and our way of life as much as people did sixty years ago? Have all of the people who have died to preserve our freedoms been counted as nothing? And, if this is such a bad country, why do so many people take enormous risks just to emigrate here? It seems that they appreciate our freedom and all this country has to offer more than we do. And, that is a sad commentary on our citizens today.
