How the media inadvertently glamorizes and fuels terrorism

"Breaking News!" that is what we tune in to when we choose to watch CNN, Fox, and MSNBC. How many of us would live without cable news, or turn it off when we have had enough. If it seem terrorism has grown in the last few years its because the media has made it a priority. It seems that when the word terrorist is used it always in reference to our "War on Terror" Perhaps by giving so much priority to the Terrorists and their agendas the media has helped in advocating their so called causes.Terrorists have to have some narcissistic quality's so the more attention you give to them the more power they gain.

There are many that will rant about the fallacies of the USA foreign policies thus giving them justification. Those who know that some of these accusations hold truths could be swayed to feel sympathetic to their causes. Those who know that the truth is not so black and white could see them as an advocate for their own causes.

The media could make "Breaking news" of Arabs, Muslims, Pakistani's, Afghanis who are building their community, saving lives as doctors, surgeons and scientist. In this way the media could turn their attention from the terrorists to positive aspects in the communities they are associated with.
