I am woman, hear me...snore. Sometimes, it's hard and exhausting work being a woman. That innate tendency to attempt to be everything to everyone in our lives can leave us stressed and weary. Yet we trudge on, believing whole heartedly in our labor of love, no matter what the cost.
Let's face it, nature didn't exactly make things easy for us, either. What with menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause, our lives are almost consumed by our own bodies. Men may think we're crazy, but let's see them walk a mile in our hormones.

We may be strange creatures, seemingly controlled by a mix of estrogen and emotion, but we are immeasurable value to this world. We are the bearers of life; the caregivers, the comforters. Our hands have helped to build great civilizations, and our wiles have had a hand in destroying a few, too. We are in no way weakened by our emotions. They only serve to fuel our wit, spirit, and determination. No one is as tenacious in defense of those they love as a woman.
Whether they know it or not, men need us. While they are not stammering, incompetent oafs, they do receive great benefit from our emotional nature, as well as our nurturing hearts.
We're not all the same, not by a long shot. But we're all built on the same foundation of awesome strength and inner beauty.
