When you love someone very truely and deeply, It really seems like nothing in life can ever go wrong. Not only are they the person you love, but they are also your supporter, Your shoulder to cry on. They become your everything. You know when you love somebody when you start to think what its like to live your life without them and you just want to cry and your heart starts to hurt.

There are no time Limits on when you are to get over somebody because everybody is different with their strengths and weaknesses. Some people can take a couple weeks, months and some times even years. It really depends on how much of into the relationship you were in before you and that one person has broken up.
From my own experience, I was in a relationship for a little over a year, but yet it took me over 3 years to get over him. When you lose somebody special and very close to you, for a long time all you can feel is hurt and sad. I thing the best way to get over somebody, is to get the closure for it. Get the answers you have been asking yourself, whether you like them or not. But at least you would know what they are. Not all questions can be answered but, Those are the ones that you need to let go on. I would say the first day you have officially moved on is the day you start letting go of the past and keep on moving on with your life, how ever long that must take.
