What little girl doesn't love Fairy Tales? Oh, the thought of being carried off by a handsome Prince, and taken away from ugly step-sister." Alice in Wonderland "was an example of a young naive girl being driven to desperation in a place that she didn't understand and made no logical sense.
Although Diana was not quite Cinderella, her life did parallel the fairy tale. She was simply head over heals in love with her Prince. This love is what doomed her marriage. She produced two beautiful sons for the Monarch. Her devotion to them was obvious. History has shown us women do not fare well, in the Monarchy, and many a loving princess has gotten the axe. How could Diana think that anyone but the public would be on her side if things went bad?
This Fairy tale was complete with a wicked-witch and could only have been better written by Stephen King. Diana would have been better off if she had chosen Sleeping Beauty.
