Fate it can be blamed or the reason why your life turned out the way it did. When I think back on my life, I think fate may have had some part in shaping my life. My mother introduced me to my future husband. She did not know it at the time of course. When I was fifteen she had set up his giving me a ride home it was my first year in high school. He did this for about a month before stopping. I thought nothing of it I was in the tenth grade and had other things on my mind. Fast forward to June of the following year nine months later. The boy I had a crush on rejected me so in my teenager way I was totally crushed. My mother decided that She would have a family outing and invite Scott along. She worked with him and thought he was a great young man. I was not so sure I remembered him giving me rides, but was not so sure if I would like him. He came over to dinner it wasn't ready yet so I went with him as he gave his family members a graduation invitation. They asked if I was his girl friend which he said no.They must have seen something though. We went to the beach after dinner. My Mother,step-dad,and step-brother. There the five of us were my Mom had built a huge fire to roast marshmallows. Scott and I had walked away to talk privately for a bit.My Mother says that when she saw us walk back towards them she thought "Oh crap". She knew from that moment on that we would be married. Fate may have had a hand in that.I shall always be grateful for the six years that I had with him. Before he died in a stupid car crash.
