I like to get where I'm going. I get into my car with my destination set on priority one. I do understand that there will be the occasional accident on the freeway, or some road work going on that can't be helped, which may slow me down. But when it is because the nosy idiot in front of me slams oh his brakes to catch a glimpse of the barely-dented fender of the car pulled over on the side of the road. It pisses me the hell off.
Why do you need to slow me and everyone behind me down to satisfy your stupid curiosity of what these people are doing? Why not just pull over, get out of your car, and ask them what the hell is going on? Do you not realize how inconsiderate it is to slow your car down to three mph from seventy mph to look at the non-existent wreckage of a tiny fender bender?
Don't get me wrong. If its a serious injury, a decapitated body in the middle of the road, then ok. because the police are involved and they are actively moving traffic and slowing people down, blocking lanes to clean up the carnage. Even I might turn my head to see if there are dead people lying in the road. But I am NOT going to come to a complete stop and in turn, stop everyone else to ogle the scene.
Speaking of stopping, you morons who slam on your brakes becasue you see a cop who is in the middle of give a ticket on the side of the road. I hate all of you! The officer isn't even in his car. Do you really think he's going to stop what he is doing, get into his cruiser and hall ass after you because you're going five miles over the speed limit? I don't think so. You are in the first lane on a five lane freeway! Just keep your foot on that gas pedal and be on your way. He isn't paying any attention to you. He's more concerned with the person he just pulled over. Can't you tell that by how far he has his head in their vehicle. Keep moving!
Now, I don't mean to offend anyone but anyone born before 1947 should be required to relinquish their license and be assigned a personal driver, or chauffeur, if you will. Nothing against the elderly, my grandmothers are elderly, but the speed limit doesn't not decrease as you age. As a matter of fact, it has increased since you first acquired the privelege to drive. If you fell uncomfortable driving the sixty-five mile an hour lime, or in some states the eighty mph limit, do not get on the freeway. Or better yet, behind the wheel at all. Sure you may not have gotten a ticket since 1962 for speeding
