Prisoner Of Your Heart
They say you never forget your first true love... that one special someone who stole your heart... captured your spirit... touched your soul... and inspired your dreams... And I know this to be true... because I've spent my entire life looking for you... and for the love we had shared once upon a time ago... Not one day goes by that you are not in my heart... my thoughts... or my dreams... Not one night passes that I don't long for your touch... your kiss... the sound of your voice... but most of all... the love of your heart... Not a moment eludes me that I can't close my eyes and once again be back in your embrace... and lost in your love... If I could somehow be granted a chance to take back a moment in time... to take back one word... one single word... it would be the word good-bye that I said to you so long ago... But I can't... and for this I will suffer for the rest of my life... They say time heals all wounds... that life goes on... and that our hearts will once again find love... But for me this is not to be true... because I could give someone everything I had... everything within me... and still not be able to give them my heart... for that will always... since the first day that we met... belong to you... For as long as God continues to create his masterpiece of life, and call it one day... for as long as he puts life in this soul... love in this heart... and fire in this spirit... for as long as God allows me to feel... to know passion... I will forever belong to you... I will forever be a prisoner of your heart... A prisoner not seeking freedom... nor longing for escape... but willing to die... a captive of your love...
