Movie reviews: Superbad

"Superbad"

Ladies, and Gentlemen writer/ producer Judd Apatow has done it again. Apatow, the producer for "The 40-Year Old Virgin", "Talladega Nights", and this summer's other blockbuster hit "Knocked Up", has struck teeng\age crude humor gold with "Superbad".

The film centers around two socially inept high school seniors, and their quest for the 2 holy grail's of high school. Beer, and babes.

While the plot surrounding these two provides for many laughs, the funniest humor is found in the socially awkward character know throughout most of the movie as McLovin.

You have all probably seen the previews, McLovin gets a fake i.d. and it only has one name, but the funniest parts of McLovin's day, would probably be considered too racy for HBO.

From his attempt to buy liquor, and subsequent quasi-adoption by two very immature and very hilarious police officers, to his eventual induction into the exclusive friendship his two buddies share, McLovin is where the laugh is at in this hilarious film.
