In this journalist's opinion if you have no ideology, you have no inspiration to science. If it were not for ideology no one would question, or suggest.
Ideology is the foundation to creation, and creation for mankind is achieved through science.
Without Ideology there would be no need for the study of history, which is a science which takes many forms. Without ideology there would no aspirations to learn about viruses, and bacteria, and therefor no need for doctors to provide cures, or anyone in the medical profession for that matter.
Science of all kinds, and flavors if you will, were all inspired by ideology, and the desire to see those ideal aspirations become a reality.
Science and Ideology are powerful forces, but like all powerful forces, the politics behind the funding is usually corrupt.
Without Ideology we would not be trying to come up with earth friendly power sources, nor would we be learning how to utilize our agriculture to feed millions.
Ideology is the very first step any scientist approaches before deciding their task, from there the rest is either history, or falls lost to history. Either way science can not exist if there is no Ideology to inspire it.
Through our own natural thinking processes Ideology will always be alive and well, therefor our need to discover if our ideology is correct will always drive man to science.
This journalist is grateful for Ideology, or I would have nothing to write about.
