I Think a summer vacation to the mountains is better. This year I went to the Smoky Mountains for vacation. There is so much to do! More than staying at the beach and swimming all day! In Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennesse, there is so much to do, you would have to stay there over a week! In Pigeon Forge there is a theme park called Dollywood,(named after the singer Dolly Parton)and at Dollywood, they have rides for all ages! Rides for the little ones, and rollercoaster fans, and more! Located next to Dollywood, is a waterpark called Dollywod's Splash Country. There they have water rides from they lazy river to straight down waterslides! In Gatlinburg, you can go to the aquarium, go-carts, sky lifts, mini golf, museums, the town has fun for all ages! In the Smoky's you can visit the national parks, take short or long hikes, and much, much more. They have an indoor interactive, virtual place called Wonder Works, where you can through birthday parties, or just come for the day. That is a really great place for a rainy day. Now, that you heard all about this, isn't this much better than the beach?
