A wicked mind of self deceit
Shadows locked inside my head
Light a candle in the darkness
And surround myself in chains.

So I keep them shut tight
And seal those thoughts within.

Just know that I exist
Not sure how to release what I feel
Just know the pain has returned.

Is now a crimson sky.
Where once was a glowing moon
Is now an evil eye.

Where once was a free spirit
Is now a caged bird.
And my once flowing thoughts
Have turned to an iceberg.
