The bandages on my wrists
Hide the self-inflicted scars
Scars of pain and agony
The ones only I can see.
Never meant to hurt anyone
That's why I did it to me
But now I realize
The scars never set you free.
The pain will always be there
Hidden deep inside
Not even the candles can light
The shadows were it hides.
Scars of pain - Solid memories
Bleeding wrists - Open another door
Do you really want to enter my world
The world of Forevermore?
You never saw it coming
But the warning signs were there
You saw me cry so many times
But you never knew why?
Couldn't you see me reaching to you
From the darkness?
Couldn't you hear my cries
Coming from the silence?
Couldn't you feel my pain
When you held me at night?
Couldn't you feel me shiver
From my deepening Fright?
