U.S.A. holds the record achieved in 1997; 25,000 killed, for a rate of 8,2 Killed/100,000people.
Male young people is largely responsible for this situation and also teenagers are killing more.
The explainations for this situation are in the large diffusion of guns and even war weapons (easy to buy even in supermarkets or malls)in families and in the high competitive and social stress on individuals who also suffer very frequently of loneliness that deteriorates their psychological health.
Many people in U.S. is poor or belonging to ethnic or socially emarginated communities, reacting to this situation also with greater disposition to kill.
Also alcholism and recreational drugs are responsible for uncontrollated violence bursts. If a drunk guy or a cocaine user has also a gun in his hands or a knife, so, the murder is much more easier.
All or some of these reasons can sum up in the same cases, creating really explosive situations.
DEATH SENTENCES can do nothing against such a situation, not being a deterrent against murder. The reason, in many cases, could be simply that, when a man/woman kills, loses the care and love also for his/her own life.
ALSO FOR THIS, I SEND AN APPEAL AGAINST DEATH SENTENCES IN U.S.A. AND IN THE OTHER COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD WHERE IT EXISTS.
