All the basics for baby

Well first off congratulations on your newest edition. It is very scary for first time parents to experience the strange and exciting things that you are opened up to when having a baby. Never fear this guide will help you step by step and let you know the ins and outs of baby essentials!

1. Bottles- Irregardless if you are planning on breast feeding or not you are going to want to buy bottles. Now all babies are different and there are like 50 million different bottle brands out there and every one claims to be the best. It can be awfully confusing for a new parent to know which is the "best" bottle. The answer, is quite simple. Your baby will know which bottle they prefer and what is right for them. So if you want to save yourself a headache in the future when your little bundle of joy shows up, get more than one. Most of the time you can usually find just one bottle of that brand or type in stores so just pick and choose a couple. Its trial and error really.

2. Beds- Now there are a bunch of different ways you can go about tucking your little one in every night. The first one being of course the most traditional, the crib. They have just regular cribs, 3 in 1 cribs that convert from a crib to a toddler bed and finally into a day bed. Cribs can get pricey so lets say your on a budget, you can use a bassinet or possibly a playard system, which is a play pen /changing table/ bassinet. Those are extremely convenient even if you have a crib and can run pretty inexpensively. Some parents are VERY pro co sleeping which means that you sleep with your child, but most Dr.s do not recommend doing so because of possible hazards to your babies health, i.e. smothering and such. Now this of course is your right as a parent so if you want to snuggle up with baby in bed and 86 all the other hardware do so!

3. Clothing and Blankets- Your baby is fed and sleeping tight, now what? Well we are going to have to put some clothes on this kid! As cute as your little ones birthday suit is, its chilly for a little baby. Buying everything and anything right there and then is probably not the best idea. Take it slow, make sure your dressing your baby for the right season, you don't want to go off and buy sleeveless onsies if your due date is in December! Also when buying clothes just get a couple of things in a couple of different sizes. Newborn, 0-3 and if you want even a couple of preemie clothes could do no harm. You want to be prepared for your baby to come no matter
