Does J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series pervert American values

Are we crazy? Harry Potter, perverting American values? If we even entertain this thought we have lost many of our own values. Harry Potter has brought the entertainment of reading books back, for the younger and older crowd. Lets stop giving in to these people who want to find scandal in every little thing that we've come to enjoy. If you want to talk about perverting American values, lets talk about government spying, lets talk about where our tax money goes, lets talk about 9/11 and all the unanswered questions surrounding that mournful event, lets talk about our kids education, and the list goes on. Let make sure that we are not diverting our energy into unimportant things such as secret messages in fictional/fantasy book, I could understand if you found the book in the non-fictional section but this is not the case. Remember "Peter Pan"? Everyone loved Peter, because he let adults and children want to hold on to there childhood. I remember saying "I don't want to grow up", and then I grew up and now I see why I never wanted to grow up. Harry Potter gives kids the imagination to do the unbelievable, which will encourage them to set high goals as they grow into adults. So lets stay away from the negative people that would love to see the joy taken away from the things that we as Americans love to enjoy.
