Auto insurance, is certainly worth the expense, without insurance nearly twelve months ago, we probably would be still standing on the side of the road waiting for someone to come by and help. If you break down on a country road in Australia, you certainly need Automobile insurance membership or be prepared for a long wait on the deserted roads of Australia, there is sometimes many miles between towns in Australia. From the West to the East of Australia and the North to the South.
We were eight kilometers out of Ardrossan, South Australia and our then car completely seized up, motor and all. Unfortunately we had a trailer on the back off the car packed with food and personal belongings ready for the camping trip in the Southern Yorke Peninsula.
With our mobile phones we called for help, luckily there was an Auto shop at Ardrossan, they came out and picked us up, dogs and all, including the trailer. The mechanic towed us into Adrossan, South Australia. Without our insurances we would've been up for one heck of a lot more money than just a new car over that camping trip. Also left stranded on the side of the road for who knows how long until someone comes along to rescue us.
My husband and I have had Auto insurance since we were 16yrs old and driving, an associate membership with our parents. We firmly believe in Auto insurance. In South Australia, for a joint membership it costs us $162.00 per year for Auto club membership it is the best money you could spend. You can always get reliable help if you need it and honest help.
These days you do not wish to be stranded on the side of the road, it is not a safe prospect. Most people would not like to get mugged out in the middle of nowhere. Especially in South Australia as the roads are quite often deserted for many days at a time. The world has changed so much it is safer to have Automobile Membership, no matter how expensive the membership is in this day and age. Without Automobile insurance lately my family would have been helpless, because both my daughters cars have needed help on the side of the road locally.
The other day I was forced into calling our Royal Automobile Association, to our house to put a new battery in the car. It was panick stations, we were due to pick our daughter and her husband up from the Airport form holidays. Without our membership they would have had an enormous taxi bill to get home from the Airport also our battery would have been rather expensive.
