Blossoms open to the sun,
Rebirth has begun.
The breeze blows warm upon my skin.
I feel fresh once again.
Lilacs scent the air,
Recall memories, banishes care.
Cleansing of the spirit, the soul.
A different sound as church bells toll.
Children laugh, their parents smile.
Together they embrace, loving life for awhile.
Smell the new mown grass, the soil.
Sip the honeysuckle's sweet nectar, nature's toil.
