Skin care routines for all ages

Everyone wants their skin to bloom like a marigold in bright sunny morning, rather than withering like autumn leaves. Our facial skin needs attention and care like a plant, which grows and blooms when it is given favorable conditions to survive. The use of facial masks, facial treatment, polishes etc may vary with the skin types. Some have oily skin, some have dry skin, some have sensitive skins and some skins are allergic to certain chemical products. I believe in having natural home treatments, without using any chemical products, and easy to make at home and apply. I would advise to the readers that take care of yourselves, because if you look good you feel good and you do well in life. Before taking any tips on facial masks, I would add up a very important point. The discipline of having balanced diet and daily exercise plays a major role in maintaining your skin.


Exercise: I would highly recommend that do go out for jogging and exercise instead of using treadmill or other in door machines. You need to breathe fresh air and walk bare foot on wet grass early morning. This would refresh your mind and soul before going out for work.

Use of liquids: One can make a habit of taking fresh juices or lemon grass tea early morning. Please note that do not throw the pulp of the fruit from the juice, instead you can add small pieces of pulp in your juice to add more flavour and energy to your glass of juice. One can make an instant drink by adding one teaspoon of honey in a glass of water as well. Hey! Lemonade will be refreshing drink as well in the evening.

Eating habits: Make sure that you avoid too much oil in your food. This may cause impurity and results in pimples on your skin. While there is another important factor that fruits should be consumed before taking your meal. What happens is that if you consume fruits after your meal, the healthy enzymes of fruits go into waste. You can make a bowl of salad having cucumber, olives, tomatoes, and carrot, also add salad dressing and have yummy instant salad bowl after you come back from a busy daily routine.

Sleeping routine: Try to follow a routine of having atlas eight hours of peaceful sleep.

Facial Masks
Now on a relaxing Sunday morning, you can spend little time on your skin by applying instant mask which will help tighten your skin and remove the external impurities on the skin.

Egg Mask: Take an egg, and separate the yellow part from the white part. And apply the white liquid on your skin and leave it to dry. After sometime remove the mask from your skin slowly, without scratching it from your skin. You will feel the difference.

Flour: One of the best cleansers at you home is flour, which we commonly use for making break. You can mix is with water and make it in a paste form and scrub on your skin.
Peels of fruits and vegetables: You can apply and rub the peel of orange, cucumber and lemon on your skin as well. It will help to bring glow on your skin.

Important things to remember:
If you have oily skin and if you strip too much oil from your face, the skin will overcompensate and produce even more oil
Cleanse at least twice a day but don't scrub hard or over wash your face
Moisturizing is not necessary on a daily basis. However, if your face feels tight after washing, then apply a light, oil-free moisturizer
When choosing makeup, especially foundation and blush, buy oil-free products
Use a sunscreen that is not oil based, be sure to use a minimum SPF of 15
All these recommendations will help you maintain your skin and will prevent your skin from wrinkles and dark circles
