In my opinion, Senator Larry Craig should not have resigned. I believe, that even if he was gay and the incident did happen, what does that have to do with the price of tea in china? It is obvious that someone or some group was out to do the Senator in with bad press and what he should of done was to try and find out who was really out to get him instead of putting his head between his legs and walking away from his career. We see this kind of thing all too often in politics and I think, that yes, a person should be of a certain stature whether gay or not, and yes, if this was true, it would be a seedy kind of thing to do however, at the end of the day, we all go to the bathroom the same way, (pardon the pun) and our personal habits and weirdness should remain personal. When something this silly is blow out of proportion and even into stupidity, we should reflect on ourselves. Like what was the undercover cop really doing in the next stall? Could it be that he was disappointed because the Senator turned his gesture down? Could it be the Senator just wanted to see what the paper was on the floor? Haven't we all wondered what the piece of dirt or paper was as we are starring at the floor while going to the bathroom in a public restroom. My message to Senator Craig is, ok, you might have already resigned, but, be a champion for the people and other political members of your party and fight for what we all believe in which is and always will be our personal privacy.
