Easy Garden Salad
1 head lettuce
1 large tomato
1 sm. onion
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup bacon bits
2 cups croutons
1 bottle of your favorite dressings (ranch, 1000 island, French, etc.)
salt and pepper
Place lettuce in a collander, rinse, drain. Shred lettuce with your hands in bite size pieces into a large bowl. (If you cut lettuce with a knife it may turn brown if not used right away.) Dice tomato and onion, add it with the lettuce. Pour in sunflower seeds, bacon bits, toss, add croutons. Add dressing right before beginning your meal.
