opinions as to why I think it's not smart to get
an iPhone and I plan to write on the subject). All summer we've been eyeing
the cell phone market, playing with our friends' iPhones, and waiting,
waiting, waiting.
The answer? Resoundingly nothing yet as the iPhone is a very inclusive and
high quality device as expected by Apple. If you want the craziest, newest
touch screen phone/MP3 player/anything else you could possibly use a non-
PDA phone for, then the "invincible iPhone" seems the most logical choice
for now.
Could LG possibly have an answer? You bet they do. Overseas LG has offered
several great alternatives to the iPhone with their LG Prada line (LG KE850,
LG KS20) and new to production LG Viewty (LG KU990). While proclaimed
not as good as the iPhone in several areas, these are sexy, touch screen
options which are smaller and of course with different features.
In some of our opinions these LG touch screen phones would be superior and
great alternatives to the iPhone but the issue is they haven't come to the
United States yet! Earlier in 2007 it was rumored the Prada was coming to
Verizon so of course I eagerly waited and held off on buying a new phone.
Sadly it never came and I've read that LG has ruled out the Prada as
transitioning to the United States.
Yet the point remains that LG does have answers to the iPhone and trust in
their brand name is high based on their quality cell phone lines. For now we'll
just have to keep waiting and watching to see what great cell phones LG will
come out with next!
LG cell phones are extremely popular worldwide and stand out in cell phone
factors including DURABILITY, USABILITY, and DESIGN. Personally I've
owned LG phones my entire "cell phone life" and in my experiences they're
by far the best money can buy of all phone options. It's no question that LG
cell phones have definitely risen and continue to grow in popularity.
Currently I own a silver LG VX8700 and also a touch screen PDA for work
tasks such as email, appointments, and contacts. Yes I'd love an all-inclusive
great PDA. My dream device is a BlackBerry in particular because I have
issues trusting products from Treo, Motorola, and individual carriers. But PDA
producers are only now starting to pay attention to user needs regarding
design, features, and size. The BlackBerry models including Pearl, Curve, and
the 8830 World Edition all seem like great choices, but for now they're out of
my price range and not covered by the PDA plan at my job. So for now I'm
one of those people lugging around both a personal cell phone and a PDA for
work.
But if my cell phone is LG, I wouldn't have it any other way! Now if only LG
made PDAs
