Remember, "One man one vote". The use of PAC,Union, and Corporate money is a large part of the reason we, the people, have lost "REPRESENTATION" in the Congress.
Organizations representing groups of people cannot possibly represent everyone; therefore, if you wish to support a candidate, contribute to his/her campaign.
Please notice that a campaign was addressed and not a "Party". The two parties are actually the most powerful lobbies in the political system and their motive is "power". Do not be deceived, there are areas of co-operation between the two. The proof is that instead of using the term non-partisan, bi-partisan is used extensively.
The term bi-partisan plants two(2) into the system and the minds of the public. I suggest you visit the site of the Federal Election Committee(FEC) and count the number times that "bi-partisan" appears. Further, one might notice on the FEC site that provisions have been made so that foreign owned companies in this country can contribute monies in our elections. Of course, there are "controls" if you care to believe they are enforced.
