Although I voted yes my heart is happy to say no. The Dolphins most certainly lost out when they passed on Brady Quinn. But so did every other team who did not draft him. Yes, Quinn had a few down moments during his senior year but that does not change the core player he is.
The fish have been in a rebuilding process for years and there is no telling when they will start winning again. If Quinn had been drafted by Miami he would of been held back and not developed into the quarterback he can be. Just like Bret Farve was drafted by Atlanta. If he had not been traded it is almost certain that he would not be a Hall of Fame inductee after he retires. So while I think the fins lost out on a franchise signal caller, I am glad that Quinn will have a better chance to shine in Cleveland.
