Yes, I have a song in my heart and so can you. God can put a song in any one's heart. I don't care what your situation is, or what you are going through. The reason He puts this song in your heart is, because He is in your heart. He is your song of joy, because of the hope He gives you. You are not hopeless anymore when you have Him. You are not alone anymore in your troubles, you now have hope and all of His promises. One promise is that He will never leave you, that should put a happy song in you heart.

A wonderful song in your heart can get you through the hardest of times. When you wake up in the morning think about good things. Proverbs 23:16 we read, "My heart will rejoice when your lips speak right things." Say, I am going to have a good day today, speak positive, and what you say will go into to your heart and birth a wonderful new day. Proverbs 23:7 we read, "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he." We can't control some of the things that happen to us, but with help we can control how these situations effect our mind and our life. The Song will stay in our heart, by speaking and thinking positive. In the back of our mind we know God has everything in His control and there is nothing He can't handle. That helps to take life's pressures off of us and gives us our beautiful song in our heart.

We can control the song in our heart by the way we think and about what we think. We need to read what the word of God tells us in Philippians 4:8 God said, "Think about things that are true, worthy of reverence, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and lovable, kind, winsome and gracious, any virtue and excellence, anything worthy of praise." We are to think on these things, weigh them and take account of these things in our mind. Even if our life situations don't look to lovely, if we do this we will have in our heart a good song. We are what we think, everyone has bad thoughts at some time or another. That's completely normal, the problem is when we dwell on those bad thoughts, is when we get into trouble. We need to get them out of our mind as quickly as possible. Replace those thoughts with that of good and lovely. If we do this we will find we are not only thinking positive, we are speaking positive and our song is on a positive note. (Out of the heart the mouth speaks) That reminds me of a record Earl Nightingale made years ago that sold over a million copies. He said, our mind is like the ground it doesn't care what we put in it, good or bad either will grow. In Proverbs 18:21 we read, "Life and death is in the power of the tongue." Our life will become positive on those good thoughts, keep it up, it will change your song and your life! Your song can definitely change your life; it's changed mine!
