for kids, empty bookbags, help with homework. Go over alphabet with Kid#3. Hang pictures on refrigerator. Change a light-bulb and toilet paper roll. Start fixing dinner with baby in arms. Find dance shoes and baseball bats. Put in and take out more laundry. Off to practice. Off to store to pick up few items on list with Kid 2, 3 and baby.
6:30pm: Home. Dinner, finish up homework. Kid#1 is sad, talk to her about problem. Kid#2 has permission slips to sign. Kid# is not feeling so good. Eat dinner, into showers, get out school clothes, pack up bookbags, clean up dinner, put in more laundry, feed the baby, bathe the baby and dress the baby for bed.
Iron husbands work shirts. Storm comes, kids are scared. Try to calm them down.
8:30pm - bed time, make up Kid#3's bed, lay down with kids, husband gets home (try to say something adult to him), Kids are asleep. Thank God. Get up to tidy up the house, catch up on email and make sure husband knows I love him. Listen to his day. Smell something funny, realize I forgot my deodorant. Oops..dogs forgot to feed the dogs. Go outside and feed them. Horses can wait till morning.
Midnight: Baby is awake, lay with her to nurse her fall asleep. Mind is racing, cant fall asleep get up and take a swig of Nyquil.
3am - Baby needs to be nursed. She is happy and babbling. Get up to rock her.
4am- Kid#3 had a bad dream. In bed she comes. Try to sleep but funny smell is bothering me. Get up, log onto Helium.
6am- The Alarm clock is ringing. PTO meeting this morning. Doctor at noon. Ball practice at 5:30pm. Need to shower early. And we are off...
Appreciated? No. Recognized? No. Would I change a thing? No!
