ROADS
Life can take you down a lot of roads
and just where they lead, no one knows.
There are roads that take you away
Even though you know you want to stay.
Then there are the roads that never end
Instead, they just begin all over again.
Of course someday you will find a lonely street
where you cannot find a friend to greet.
But in contrast you may find the way
to the road that leads to love, one day.
Does this road that leads to love really exist?
No, it only appears to be there, in the mist.
