A State of Perfection: The Happy Medium
I have always dreamed of living in my perfect place. A place so unique and ideal, paradise heaven sent. But for now, I live in this place in my mind.
Heaven is just a state of mind. As Jesus said in the bible, heaven can be found within you. I guess he meant that we can live in a state of utterly exquisite happiness even in places of chaos and strife. I have experienced such a state of being. I live my whole life by it. It is wonderful and sometimes inexplicable surprising and out of place. But as a physical being I am innately created to exist on the physical plain.
Kill the body and let the spirit live says the bible. That is the way to true happiness, ultimately. Physical happiness is only temporary. For eventually we die and move on to our eternal existence. But I, a physical being, was created by the spirit. Everything points to that special relationship.
First I have an idea and eventually it is manifested in the physical realm. Everything exists because I first had a thought. And if the thought is within our grasp of reality it will come into physical existence full of the essence of its being. I am a living spirit inside of flesh and blood. A perfect combination for perfect cohabitation.
And this is where I want to live as long as I live on planet earth. Why should I have to spend my life living in my head. If it exists in my mind then it can exist in the earthly realm. I have been endowed by God with the ability to bring into being whatever comes into my mind.
The bible tells us about a man who got caught up in the third heaven, paradise, and he saw things that he could find no words in the human language that could describe them. And that he should not dare discuss it because it was beyond the scope and grasp of man at this present time. Obviously he had experienced a time and space way beyond our present human understanding. Therefore, unless I am living beyond myself I will just have to wait for nature and creation to catch up with the spirit and time.
But the spirit is an encapsulated being held captive within our bodies. But, one day, when we die we will be released into the quickening spiritual state free from all constraints. But in the mean time our spirit has been destined to roam the earth, to learn and to understand that it was created by a God who controls its every move and way.
Earth, a place perfect for the spirit of man. If it were not so God would not have placed him here. God is righteous. Everything He does is right. This planet was a perfect match for any man, where he could live on his perfect plain of neither here or there.
A black and white world, of spirit and body, with every part being held together by the delicate balance of nature. So what is or was this perfect stasis now destroyed by some kind of virus, eating away at the neurons and axons of the human condition.
Maybe we can find perfect balance again, in all its glory and splendor. God has already fulfilled his promise in the spiritual realm, with nature and creation waiting for healing and recreation to catch up with it.
For imperfection cannot exist forever because a Perfect God exists.
