It is of great importance that bloggers and citizen journalist receive credentials to be able to cover Congress the same way mainstream media journalist do. We live in a world where there are so many different cultures of people living in a cohesive fashion that must be represented. The mainstream media is not truly representative of these cultures and their subcultures.

Too often there are many questions that simply go unanswered do to the fact the the questions where not asked. This is the result of the bias of the group. Proper statistical analysis teaches that the group must best be unbiased to produce substantial information. The current media does not reflect the country's current culture groups.

By allowing the proper credentials to the bloggers and citizen journalist, we will see more disparate questions presented in Congressional coverages. It is necessary that this be allowed so that information can be less susceptible to the mainstream narrow views as it is today. Questions of various types would also allow Congress to better realize that people, whom they are to represent, are now asking questions from which they where sheltered.

There would also be a great diversity of pooling of potential questions by this group as they are not living under the fear of asking politically correct questions that would affect there job status as would be experienced by the mainstream media

Codes of conduct would need be followed by bloggers and citizen journalists as would be for media journalists now. I do not feel that this would be a problem as it take a specifically driven personality to go attend and to have the strength to have their questions heard. I believe that ethical behavior in this environment would not be a great concern as some would lead us to believe when defining professionalism.

It would be a good day in this country when people, who are more diverse than many of us have experienced, be allowed to obtain credentials so as to meet with our governing bodies and to ask the questions that have yet to be asked.
