Understanding democracy

I'll save the long explanation and get straight to the point. Quite simply, MySpace is the cure for the division implemented by the government. Ponder this: Prior to the advent of the internet and MySpace, what would be required, in terms of resources, effort and time for the average person to get a single thought or idea across to a million people? Then, consider what would be required for those million people to correspond just once. Ignoring resources, the requisite time and effort alone would make it nearly impossible or impractical at best; and we're only talking about a single thought! Now back to the present. The medium of MySpace gives every individual access to over 120 million people (and growing by the 100s of thousands daily). Countless ideas and thoughts (especially something funny) circulate the entire collective at blinding speeds. It is now possible to unify staggering numbers of people in a fraction of a day. Technically it could happen in less than an hour under the right circumstances.

Gandhi more than adequately proved how effective simple, non-threatening civil disobedience can be. In his day a substantially greater amount of effort was required to achieve desired results. Again, thanks to MySpace we can accomplish this task with little to no effort. I can describe in two words how the youth of today will take control; strategic boycotting. If a third of MySpace were to decide to collectively boycott any company, they could topple it in a relatively short amount of time. Similarly, they could bring any company to power that's sympathetic to their cause. That amount of people could powerfully affect the economy and stock market. Imagine what would happen to the national economy if they all members of certain MNCs decided not to go to work for a week. Even better, (I personally love this idea) what would happen if they all decided not to pay their visa or mastercard bill; or better yet INSURANCE!?!? With just the slightest bit of ingenuity and collaborative compromise there is no limit to what that amount of people could accomplish. Success is literally mathematically guaranteed.
