Here is the recipe that when followed will help you fill up and not out. It starts with you making the decision to think more of yourself and eat in a more nutritious way.
Heard of water? Make it a friend. Water is a gift. Hydration is important. Have a glass of water before a meal, it will help fill you up. Limit your salt intake as sodium will make your body retain water.
Next let's have a look at your fridge and cupboards. Get rid of all the unhealthy, high in calorie junk. Out of sight out of mind.
Now choose to include healthy snacks, like fruit. Fruit can definitely numb your sweet tooth, and most fruits are under a hundred calories. They also have the benefit of fiber.
Sugar. Use substitutes. Or try using honey. Honey is full of great B vitamins. Vegetables make great snacks. They are filling, have fiber and nutrients. Drink vegetable juices. Whole grains are tasty and filling. A bowl of oatmeal is very healthy, and will keep you going till noon. Make homemade soups. Try making homemade brown beans, they are rich in protein and fiber.
Choose lean cuts of meat. Stay away from package meat, they are loaded with sodium and nitrates. Not healthy at all. Try to make stir frys with lots of vegetables. Add a nice salad to your diet on a regular basis. Have fruit for desert.
Stop wasting your time on fast food. Fast food is loaded with fat, salt and other unhealthy fillers. If you have to visit a fast food place, have the salad.
With the food side covered, remember to include exercise. Find a form of exercise you enjoy and engage in it everyday.
Everyone does need to fill up. No one needs to fill out. So remember water, remember to add exercise. Most of all remember to think highly of yourself and make healthy food choices.
