in the evening sun.
like sparks from
a machine gun!
It was going 150

behind the wheel.
Out of the lot
screech and scratch.
on to the freeway

Back to the lot
how much for her?
talk down, talk up

I drive away
with a smile on my face.
Saved for years
thru bad and thru grace.
Now I got it
my want satisfied.
Driving down the road,
all filled with pride!
