off the beaten path and try out some great diving here. Although accommodation is limited once you're set up you'll enjoy a laid back, friendly and quiet feel away from the masses. Plan ahead for a place to if you can and enjoy diving around the island and the other islands scattered around including Koh Muk, Koh Waen, Koh Chuek and Koh Mah.
Southwest of Koh Ngai lie the beautiful islands of Hin Mouang (purple rock) and Hin Daeng (red rock) encompassed by stunning immersed pinnacles. At Hin Mouang Grey Reef Sharks swim in large schools making an intimidating yet striking impression. Manta Rays and Whale Sharks can also be spotted in the area. A solitary cave lying ten meters below the surface on the south west wall gives an opportunity to catch a lingering glimpse of large Nurse Sharks.
Experience the thrill and excitement of diving the highest underwater vertical wall at Hin Daeng. Caves and caverns provide an additional element of adventure and create an underwater Mecca waiting to be explored in more depth. Plateaus, walls and rocks are at every turn and you'll get a chance to spy Grey Reef Sharks, Octopus', Manta Rays Leopard Sharks and possibly the odd Nurse Shark too.
