Let's not fool ourselves, everyone knows that the only way to become a force on the Internet is to have as many visitors as possible stream into our sites. And not only have visitors, but to have visitors ready to buy. Writing articles is a must for several reasons. One, is publicity or, exposure! The more exposed you are on the net, the more apt you are to be seen by unique visitors, (people who don't usually see you or your service). To grow you simply must have these visitors constantly streaming into your Internet business.

The more, "relevant", information your websites contain, i.e. brief histories on your products or services, articles on humorous facts pertaining to your products or services, anything that will increase your exposure in search engines place them on your site. This enables more areas on the search engine to pick you up, thus more traffic to your site. Spend a little time looking for creative ways to expose your site by using articles.

Articles such as product reviews, reporting on organizations the business may be a part of, what the company does good in the community, why you think people must try this product without all the hype, etc. Article writing is a must if you are looking for the broadest exposure with limited funds. There are literally hundreds of places you can post these articles for free, blogger, Helium, Wordpress and many more you just have to search for them. This brings me to the second reason why writing articles is a necessity.

Most of us who are interested in breaking into the Internet business world all share a common lack. The lack of will to commit our scarce resources to do something we know will succeed, but will take time and a lot of effort before we reap the benefits. In short we all are struggling to get by with what we make at our jobs. Therefore we cannot spend this money anywhere else but towards the basic necessities in life. Is this not why we all are drawn to the Internet, and the passive income possibilities.

You join a blog site and you begin to write about topics dealing with your products or services. These sites allow you to link to your site from theirs. As an added bonus, they will add affiliate campaigns to your blogs that can and does generate income for you. You now have the potential to earn money though affiliate links, some sites generate content related links for you, but also exposure. You now have another website working for you publicizing your personal product or service, and all for just the time you spent blogging or writing articles. Do this on as many sites as you can find and copy and paste all your articles to all the sites you have found and you have a marketing monster waiting to bring you three times the traffic you ordinarily receive, plus hopefully some affiliate marketing money.

Writing is free, and many sites out there allow you exposure to millions of interested visitors, linkage from multiple sites outside of search engines and a chance for people to get to know who they are dealing with. The number one problem small business and Internet based small business face online is believability. There are so many scams out here that people have fallen victim to, or have known someone who has fallen victim to them. Letting people know a little about you and your business through blogging and article writing is a fun and great way to accomplish this. Put it to work for your company, and see the increased traffic. You might find that it was the best decision you ever made.
