Things to do when selling your car in quick easy steps.

EXTERIOR:
1.If you have any black plastic or rubber parts to your car spray Back to Black on the black plastic areas and rub it in with a clean dry cloth. RESULT: The black plastic or rubber areas will become a jet black as opposed to a dark faded gray. This works exceptionally well on tires making them look as new. WARNING! do not spray on threads of tires only on the sides because it would make the threads slippery.

2.If you have any tar on the paintwork it can be removed easily by putting petrol/gasoline onto a cloth and rubbing the tar with it. The petrol can be removed by using another clean cloth and clean soapy water. REMEMBER: the car has to be waxed afterward because the petrol will remove any wax that is on the car.

3.If you have any scratches in the paint they can be removed or reduced by using special compounds that can be bought from all good motor stores.

4.After all the above has been done wash the car and apply wax. Remember to buff the wax.

INTERIOR:
1.Remove all rubbish and personal belongings from the car.

2.Vacuum the car thoroughly.

3.Wipe down all non-fabric surfaces for example the dashboard and steering wheel etc.

4.Clean all stains from the seats. A damp cloth will usually get rid of most stains but for the more persistent stains a carpet cleaner may be used.

5.Grease door hinges.

6.Clean both the inside and outside of all the window thoroughly. this is very important as when a potential buyer is test driving the car clear windows subconsciously makes the car seem better.

ENGINE:
1.Change the water and the oil. This may be done very cheaply by a mechanic.

2.Use a degreaser on any dirty parts of the engine and wipe off then use. Back to Black on any black surfaces inside the engine.
