I decided to cancel my cable the day I was told about the Dish network. Which is simply being connected by a satellite dish, instead of a cable. The people at Dish network came over and installed everything. It is easy to use, and most importantly, it has many advantages over cable.

First off it is less expensive. My monthly cable bill was nearing eighty dollars a month. Although I had a lot of channels, I thought my bill was too high. Dish offered the same thing as cable, but my bill was only forty five dollars a month. Also when you start at the Dish network, they give you all of the channels available for free for three months. This includes all local channels. Most companies charge extra for local channels. The Dish network doesn't.

The cable company would have people think that it is complicated or confusing to have a Dish. Quite the contrary. When you sign up they will come out and install it for free. Also If you decide to move they will come out and move your service for free. I have always had exceptional customer service with any problems I have had. I have never been charged by Dish for any problems that have occurred.

I have to mention that our contract ran out with Dish, and we called to ask if we signed up for another year what incentives did they offer?. We were told by Dish that we were appreciated as customers, and that we did not need to renew our contract. They offered us free movie channels for three months, for nothing!.
We are very satisfied with Dish network. I don't see myself purchasing cable anytime in the future.

Good customer service is so important to me. It should be the most important thing that a company offers. Along with a reasonable price for a service. Many times I have canceled services for over charging, or just plain having a bad attitude. Even if the other service I am using is more expensive. It is so refreshing to deal with a company that really cares. The fact that the good service is accompanied by a lower price makes it all the better. So if you are annoyed with your high cable bill, check out what Dish network has to offer. You will be pleasantly surprised.
