Friendship...what shall i say? I found this particular friend to be jealous, especially when it came to boyfriends. She was in it for herself and didn't want me to have anyone. When she did have a boyfriend, she didn't even introduce him to me, and the only thing i could think of at that moment was; she may have been afraid I would have taken him away or he would have liked me more than she. It appeared to be insecurity on her part. Friendship means wanting what's best for you - and you for them. Jealousy has no part in a true friendship. You should be secure in yourself as an individual to find the right man in your life and not be jealous or afraid someone will take that person away.

Friendships can fail as well when you grow up and become more mature. The friends I had in high school and college are no longer my friends today. Why? We had different lifestyles. A few of my friends got married, had children, and I remained single throughout my life. I had a nursing career. We were not the same people we were in high school and college, and so we drifted apart.

Friendships can be deceiving, too. You think that person is your friend , but they don't act like a friend. They use you, offend you, lie to you, and you find you can't trust them. They are not there for you when you need them the most.
