On A Day As Special As This:
On a Day as Special as this,-
instead of a hug, I send you a kiss.
With all of the miles that separate us still,
in my heart,- you get a tear.
For it would be better,- if we were together,
that is a moment yet to come;
Once my and your time is done,-
in the services in which we've joined.
Just remember that as a friend, there is no better,-
than you sweetheart,- Your location is of no matter.
Even though you are thousands of miles away,
My Love is sent to you, through every letter I make.
As I read your letters,- and my tears begin to fall,-
As hard a time I know you are having, sweetheart,-
I stand beside you, through it all.
If ever you feel like someone is touching your hand,-
and you look down and find no man,
Feelings have no limit to distance span,-
for it is me, and my thoughts there with you.
On This special Day, as I spend it with You,-
Through this poem sweetheart, i say,-
I will always love you.
