Teachers have been our friends for years,
They have an honorary profession you know;
If teachers are such a necessary commodity
here,
Then why haven't we made them millionaires
or given them their own television show?
Teachers give away a part of themselves
everyday of the all your school years;
Someone's child thanks a teacher all of the
time,
For helping them to overcome their learning
fears.
They wear many hats, a mother, a nurse, a
referee, and the list goes on it is endless;
Trying to teach you educational skills that
Are necessary to find work instead of being
broke and friendless.
Your first teachers is your parents, the next
is your Sunday School teacher;
When you look at all the trophies, degrees,
and plaques you have earned,
Don't forget to thank a teacher.

As they wonder where

"The Wait"
Once Melissa and I waited
Overeager first year teachers
Common courage calling us
From the darkened copy room
Overeager
