When to call animal control

It is unfortunate in these days that we still require "moles" for animal rescue shelters. In many towns around the globe you can pay for the privilage of watching two Pit Bull Terriers ripping each other apart, blood splattered walls, confined within makeshift pens so that onlookers, each who has paid an entry fee and each who can bet individually on every fight, can witness a kill and cheer dogs on.

Dogs that are especially bred for fighting with their lives revolving around death. Those who do survive a fight often carry war-wounds to their faces, legs, ears until a stronger Pit Bull comes along and ends their lives.

The mistreatment of animals does not stop here. Many animals are ferried into our country with a very high rate of mortality. Bird smugglers operate between many countries supplying African Grey Parrotts, Cockatoos, Gahlas with some birds being mailed in a little cardboard tubes where they suffocate.

Unfortunately, the list of cruelty to animals is endless. I truly admire anyone who inform animal control to uproot any evil pasttime or needless futile deaths to animals and all in the name of money. Contact animal control as their best information comes from informers. I urge anyone who knows of cruetly to animals or dog fights to contact your local animal control to stop this brutality. Just think for a moment of the poor Pit Bull Terriers and the lives they have to lead. It sends shivers down my spine.

Please inform your local animal control shelter to help stop cruelty to animals and promote kindness instead of death. It does not matter how young or old you are, all it takes is courage.
