When Did This Happen?

The world is ruled by an evil man. He controls everyone and everything, under a communist iron like fist. Who he is, no one really knows. All he cares about is using the earth's resources to build whatever his heart desires. He has built big factories across the world. Inside there is big machines that never stop working. They are supposed to be making new materials to one day build a very big black jet like spaceship. Steam comes out of the machines and above the factories the world gets polluted.

The evil one's greed to have everything in the world for himself has caused the Earth to rot. The sky is dark and gray clouds of pollution are everywhere. If you lived during this time and looked up, you wouldn't see the sun, moon or any stars. Water is scarce, and every water source is green with some sort of chemical that has polluted it. The oceans have started to get shallower and inland lakes and rivers run dry. It never rained or snowed anywhere, but everyday, strong winds would blow through carrying dust across the globe. Cities and towns have been torn apart, in the search of things that can help to make this spaceship. Almost every animal has become extinct, nothing but black crows can be seen flying in some places. In this wasteland, there is no longer trees or any other type of plants. Oxygen has run dry. Over years the humans have evolved to withstand and survive in their new environment.

The people are slaves, robots monitor them from everywhere. They have nothing for themselves and everything they ever get goes toward the tyrant who rules over them. Everyday they live the same life, roaming the desolate streets looking for anything, for there is nothing to be found. A mother and her son are outside walking the streets, living in poverty, like everyone else. With broken spirits, no one has the desire to fight back anymore.

When the earth could no longer fuel the machines, the extreme happened. Robots started gathering people up and taking them away. They threw them into fiery pits where they provided the factories and machines with the energy to finish the job. Whole families at times would be tossed away, no longer to live.

The spaceship was finally finished and seeing that there was a big surplus of materials, more and more get produced. The final product was amazing, each spaceship was huge, about the size of about a jumbo jet and kept programmed by computers to destroy. Finished spaceships were stored, while everyday more people
