The Playtime Pet Tricky Treat ball (or another product like it) is a must-have for dog owners.

My canine companion, the rogue lab retriever from hell, has raised food stealing to an art form. When my priorities start to slip and I spend a few hours on crazy stuff like work or pay attention something as trivial as my husband, she points out the error of my ways in the following manner.

Seizing on the opportunity created by my misplaced attention, she sneaks into the kitchen, snatches any food product available, and spirits it away to our upstairs office. Like an overzealous child on Christmas morning, she proceeds to tear into the package and examine its contents, which may be gobbled instantly or strewn artfully across the floor, depending on their appeal.

What does this have to do with the Tricky Treat ball? Why, everything!

Products like the Tricky Treat ball can be filled with your dogs' dry food or hard treats, creating a tantalizing "package" for her to inspect. When the ball is rolled across the floor or hit with a paw, it occasionally drops a morsel from one if its openings, rewarding your dog for favoring it with her attention. More fun than a bottle of coffee creamer and tastier than a box of crackers, it will have your pet thinking she's "getting away with something".

Like an after school program for troubled teens, this toy will keep your petulant pet from leading a life of kitchen crime. Better yet, it will have your dog up and moving for hours on end, keeping her in optimal condition even when the weather keeps her mostly indoors.
