Why can't people go the speed limit when you are in a hurry

If your one of those people who just can't stand the slow drivers, there are a few tips to lower your blood-pressure:

Early in the morning, people are half awake and tend to drive a little slower. If you have caffeine nerves, you might want to consider taking an alternate route. You can actually make pretty good time, by taking the back roads during rush hour. Even though you have more stop signs and traffic lights, they are timed shorter and there is less traffic.

Stay in the right lane even though you think it is a slow lane, you can quickly exit if there is a traffic jam up ahead. Speed limits are posted for ideal driving conditions, so rain or fog can slow traffic considerably.

Give yourself an extra fifteen minutes of time. I have all my clocks set ten minutes ahead, and I am rarely late anymore. Keep your gas tank full, there is nothing worse than being stuck in traffic on empty. All ways fuel your car before you go home at night.

Keep your radio set to a local station that will give you regular traffic reports. This way you can avoid hazards and long waits. A good GPS system ,or even (Google Earth) can give you alternate routes with exact times it takes to drive them. If you decide to take the less - traveled - path, you may use this route to do errands such as shopping or picking up the dry cleaning.
